I. INSTALLATION

BAMBOO FLOOR INSTALLATION

PREPARATION
Prefinished solid strip flooring is best applied by nailing, stapling, or gluing planks to a wood subfloor. Gluing directly to a concrete slab may be done at or above grade. Do not install below grade. Flooring may also be applied over radiant floor heating systems. Flooring should be allowed to acclimate on the job site three (3) days. The acclimation period should be at expected normal room temperature and humidity levels before and after installation. Damp or cold conditions before installation should be avoided. The maximum difference in moisture content between the subfloor and the flooring material should be no more than 3 percent. The amount of movement depends upon the temperature, moisture content of the flooring and subflooring (wood moves as moisture content rises and falls) and the dimensional stability of the material. Gaps in the floor may come and go seasonally or due to temperature changes. Humidity levels should remain between 40% and 60%.
Because bamboo is a natural fiber, variations in color naturally occur. Each box should be inspected for differences in color and staggered throughout the floor.

SUB FLOORS
Wood sub-flooring surfaces must be clean, dry, and if gluing the flooring, free of contaminants that would interfere with an adhesive bond. Sub-floor or underlayment nailing surface also must be level and smooth prior to installation of flooring. For optimal installation, we recommend 3/4 inch CDX plywood as nailing substrate or for a glue application. Or use 5/8" CDX ply for 12 inch on center and 16 inch on center floors and 3/4 inch CDX ply for 24 inch on center floors. Optimum sub-floor is 1-1/8" plywood over joists at 16 inches on center. Concrete sub-floors must be tested for moisture and a vapor retarder such as 6 mil polyethylene film should be placed in crawl spaces. We recommend using the Calcium Chloride Test Method. Flooring must not be installed if vapor pressure exceeds 3 lbs. per 1000 square feet in 24 hours. Concrete should be checked for flatness prior to installation and low spots and voids filled to a minimum of 3/16" in a 10 foot radius or 1/8" in a 6 foot radius, and high spots ground to surface. Surface must be smooth and free of debris, oils, grease and solvents. Slabs younger than 60 days are generally too wet for flooring installations

Nail method: With this method each individual plank is firmly fixed in place by screws. While installing pre-finished bamboo flooring, you should nail it at a 45 or 50 degree angle; you should make a hole beforehand.

Glue method (one of the glue methods): You should use a oil based glue or a glue with low water content to glue the floor. If you use high water based glue, it may make the flooring swell because the floor absorbs the water from the glue.

ON FLOORS WIDER THAN 20' TO MINIMIZE EXPANSION
On floors wider than 20 feet, to minimize expansion, more or less spacing may be needed depending on geographical area, interior climate control and time of the year. In some areas, additional spacing may not be necessary. Where spacing is required, use a washer or removable spacer to leave additional space every few rows and/or start in center of room and work out to both sides." RADIANT FLOOR
A radiant floor should not produce temperatures over 85 degrees Farenheit. The radiant heat system should remain in operation after installation. It should be noted any wood flooring, as well as bamboo flooring, will expand and contract due to temperature changes. When choosing an installer for application over radiant heat, look for members of the Radiant Panel Association. Bamboo shuttering Plywood INSTALLATION & USE

1.Cutting the boards should be used a sharp-edged sawing machine with rails, and keep sawing cutters vertical with a roatation speed of 4500 r/min.Or professional alloy sawing cutters with diameter as 355 mm and 120 teeth.

2.All the templates cut edges and drilled holes should be painted for at least 3 coats of waterproof phenol-formaldehyde series of paints. When scratches, colliding or other slight damage are found, they also can be compensated by phenol-formaldehyde paints.3.     templates installation
The wood columns touching templates shall be placed longitudinally. The seam among templates must be as short as possible, and all the templates must be levelled up. The sizes of the supporting wood columns are 50 x 80 MM or 100 x 100 mm, and adhesive tapes are used to seal the seam to avoid leakage or pollution on edges by liquid.

(1)Ceiling templates: Place wood columns transversely on shelf, with a distance of 1200mm,then place wood columns longitudinally, with a distance of 400-600MM,when the concrete poured thickness is more than 200MM, the distance should be reduced.

(2)Wall templates: Place three wood columns longitudinally, then place two wood columns transversely and connect together. Leave the positions for screws going through the walls, and keep them standing. If applicable, the templates can be connected by steel columns to compose a combined wall template, which can be suspended directly or disassembled into separate bamboo templates.

(3)Girder & column templates: Cut the templates as the requirement of the size, leave the positions for screws going through the walls, then the templates can be locked on the shelf.

II. MAINTAIN

BAMBOO FLOOR MAINTENANCE
WHAT TO DO
1 Clean floor after installation. Use a lightly dampened mop with no-wax floor cleaner specifically formulated for hardwood floors (preferably non-toxic, environmentally safe products).
2 Regularly dust mop, sweep with a soft bristle broom or vacuum with a soft accessory to keep your bamboo floor clean from dust, dirt or grit.
3 Remove spills and dirt promptly. A soft cloth wetted with water and then squeezed dry may be used to wipe up foodstuffs and other spills, provided the area is dried immediately.
4 When using any wood flooring cleaner that requires mixing with water, follow the mixing directions precisely.
5 Heel or scuff marks and stubborn stains may be removed by lightly rubbing with a cloth and a wood floor cleaner.
6 Place mats at all exterior entrances. This will capture much of the harmful dirt before it reaches the bamboo floor.
7 It is recommended to remove shoes (especially high-heel shoes) prior to walking on bamboo flooring. Alternatively, be sure to clean shoes well. Gravel, rocks and debris can get stuck in the bottom of shoes and scratch the finish.
8 Use area rugs on high traffic pathways. Only use colorfast and non-scratch area rugs on your bamboo floor.
9 Use mats in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry room to protect against spills.
10 Shake out, vacuum or wash mats and area rugs frequently.
11 Install floor protectors under all furniture legs. Make sure the floor protectors are large enough to distribute weight evenly. Keep the floor protectors clean of grit and replace them periodically. Wheels should have hardened-plastic casters at least 2" in width depending on weight.
12 Lift furniture when moving, instead of sliding across surface.
13 Keep pets' claws trimmed. This will avoid excess scratches and gouges.
14 Maintain relative humidity. Using a dehumidifier or humidifier to maintain relative humidity in the home at 30-50% will maintain the moisture level in the wood and help minimize cracks between the boards. Continued excessive humidity can cause swelling of the floor. Continued lack of humidity (below 20%) can cause shrinking of the planks and/or cracking of the bamboo strips.

WHAT NOT TO DO
1 Do not allow floor cleaner or any other liquid to remain longstanding on your bamboo floor.
2 Do not let sand, dirt or grit build up.
3 Do not use a vacuum with a beater bar.
4 Do not use a wet mop or sponge to clean the floor - excessive amounts of water will cause your floor to swell and cup.
5 Never wax your bamboo floor.
6 Do not use steel wool or other abrasive scouring pads.
7 Do not use oil soap, scouring powder, abrasive cleansers or harsh detergents to clean your bamboo floor.

Bamboo shuttering Plywood MAINTANCE

1.During use, impacting by hard articles, scratching by acute tools, tapping by crowbars, random flinging and throwing, reinforcing steel bars dragged on the templates are strictly forbidden.

2.When a bamboo plywood template is used for 2 times, the drop-off liquids shall be painted up each time, and clean the surface in time after each usage.

3.Disassemble the bamboo plywood templates, separate them from the ground cushioned by wood columns downside, and level up on corners and stocks. Please provide systems for ventilation, anti-rainwhen they are stored for a long time.
